Ashina Moriuji

Ashina Moriuji

nihongo|Ashina Moriuji|芦名盛氏 (1521-1580) was a Japanese daimyo of the Azuchi-Momoyama period. He ruled Kurokawa Castle (later known as Aizuwakamatsu Castle) and its environs. He was also responsible for building Mukaihaguroyama Castle, which he used as a residence when in retirement. The castle was completed in 1561. [Edmond Papinot.
