Real Club España

Real España Club was a football team that played in mexican first division and that it had as soothes City of Mexico. España was one of the most popular equipment at the time "Romántica" of Mexican football. During the Amateur era would win 14 titles of League and 4 Glasses. History

Beginnings

España club was founded 20 March, 1912, product of a separation of old Mexico FC founded on 1910 by Alfredo B. Cuellar, Jorge Gómez de Parada and Alberto Mountain range. In San Pedro of the Pines Cricket was the main sport, is why two years later, in order to play football, 6 young Spanish emigrants would undertake the project to create a new club and would form to the memorable equipment of España. Francisco Aryan, Ramon Lance, Pedro Batgay, Delio Bonet, Enrique Escalada and Francisco Gómez would be their founders.

Amateur era

Professionalism

For the year of 1951 España decides to retire of all professional competition and equipment does not return more to mexican first division.

Athletic Spanish

For the season 1971-72 Necaxa changes of hands to those of Spanish leaders. With the intention to remember the great equipment that was the España Club, they decide to change to the name of the equipment to the one of Athletic Spanish, even copying the colors of the uniform of the missing person equipment. When never obtaining total acceptance on the part of the liking nor obtaining protagonism in the league, it is later decided 10 years to change the name again to the original name, Necaxa.

Present time

At present Real España still it exists, their facilities continue in still on City of Mexico and is a club that offers the option to realise several sport activities like oar, tennis, among others. The football team has been in the past and they are only some fields, photographies and trophies to remember it.
