NoteFinder is desktop note-taking application for Unix-like operating systems (such as Linux, BSD, Solaris and Mac OS X).

Project development was started on December 20, 2007.

NoteFinder has many important note-taking features like tagging, rich text formatting, smart search, synchronizing, importing local and remote files.

NoteFinder stores notes as plain-text on file system. They can be easily accessed even without NoteFinder.

Entries can be searched by their creation date, tags, text and names.

NoteFinder has plugin system, so program functionality can be easily extended.
