Angel Clivillés

Angel Clivillés

Angel Clivillés is the stage name used by Louise Angel Sabater, a Latina dance music singer of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent. She was born in the Bronx New York.

Music career

She began her musical career in 1986 as a member of the Freestyle girl group The Cover Girls. Clivillés left The Cover Girls in 1990 to embark on a solo career. As a solo artist she placed two songs on the Hot Dance Club Play chart: "One More Chance," a #7 song from 1999 and "Show Me", which hit #1 in 2000. "Show Me" is a remake of her 1987 song with the Cover Girls. Both singles are featured on her solo debut album, "Angel". Today, Angel tours the U.S. as "Angel (The Original Cover Girl)". She married music producer Robert Clivillés, formerly of the group C + C Music Factory.
