Crown Princess Srirasmi of Thailand (born Srirasmi Akharaphongpreecha,
December 9 ,1971 ; _th. ศรีรัศมิ์ อัครพงศ์ปรีชา) is the current royal consort of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand. She now has surname Mahidol na Ayudhaya. Princess Srirasmi was born in
Samut Sakhon Province to a family of modest means. She was the third child of Aphirut ( _th. อภิรุจ) and Wanthanee ( _th. วันทนีย์) Akharaphongpreecha. She has a total of 4 siblings. In 1993, at the age of 22, Princess Srirasmi entered the service of Crown PrinceVajiralongkorn as a civil servant in charge of "waiting on him". Princess Srirasmi enrolled inSukhothai Thammathirat Open University in 1997 and graduated in 2002 with abachelor’s degree in management science. Princess Srirasmi married the crown prince on
10 February 2001 at a private ceremony at the Prince's Nonthaburi Palace. The public was informed of the event some time afterwards.
