Kačulice

Kačulice is a village in the municipality of Čačak, Moravica District, in Serbia.

The village is situated some 15km east of the city of Čačak.

The village's population is less than 700.

It became famous in news during 2006 and 2007, since former Serbian minister of infrastructures Velimir Ilic started to build a cardiovascular clinic, on his personal building site. This construction is one of Ilic's dark moments, since he started building clinic without one single aprooval and construction licence. Used materials and machinery paid for by the ministry of infrastructures.

In 2007 journalist Vladimir Ilic went on site to take photos of buildings with permission from the minister, but he was attacked by site security. After incident Minister stated that journalist went there to rape his sheep and not to take photos. Even though journalist associations demanded answers from the police and the public prosecutor, they gave no single explanation for this incident.
