Sweet Savage are an American glam metal band formed by bassist Laine Sheridan in 1984. The band also included guitarist Chris Sheridan, singer Joey C. Jones, and drummer Randy St. John - later drummer Walt Woodward III. Sweet Savage toured the U.S. heavily for five years, gathering a huge following. Their self-titled 1986 release "Sweet Savage" held the #1 spot on the U.K. import charts for 4 months, and was the biggest selling consignment album in the U.S. during that time. They broke up in 1989.
Laine Sheridan now lives in South Florida, and is a successful, award-winning artist and dive boat captain in the Bahamas. His oil paintings are in collections around the world, and has been featured in many galleries and juried shows.
Chris Sheridan is now in a band called Kottak, with the drummer from the Scorpions and Tommy Lee's sister Athena(My Space, 2007). Chris is also an Academy Award winning documentary filmmaker.
