Raja ki mandi

Raja Ki Mandi is a area in Agra. This is the shoppers paradise, with shops selling all sort of clothes lining the streets. There is also a railway station at Raja Ki Mandi by the same name.

History

Raja Ki Mandi is a very old market. It has been there from the Mughal Area. You can find all sort of fancy dresses here but be prepared to bargain hard. Though no one is quite sure how this place got its name as it quite litreally means 'Market of the Kings'.

Railway Station

Raja ki Mandi comes under North Central Railways on the Agra - Delhi Main line. Here a line goes to Agra Fort (Western Railways) via Agra City railway Station. Agra has 6 Station where long distance trains halt. The main among these are Agra Cantt & Agra Fort.
