"Radio3 Scienza" is the scientific daily news bulletin by "
Rai Radio Tre ". It is broadcast every morning, Monday to Friday, from 11.30_12.00 am and forms part of the station’s programming strand called "Il Terzo Anello "."Radio3 Scienza" originated from an idea by Rossella Panarese, who is still the Programme Editor.The first broadcast of "Radio3 Scienza" went on air on the
January 7 2003 with Claudia Di Giorgio on the microphone. At the editorial unit: Cristiana Castellotti, Giovanni Spataro, Mariangela Spitella, Francesca Tuzi. Since then it has gone on the air every day, bank holidays included, except for the First of the Year.During the years, "Radio3 Scienza" has often changed its voice and format. Currently alternating presenters are Rossella Castelnuovo, Pietro Greco, Fabio Pagan and Elisabetta Tola. The fifth, very popular, presenter, Franco Carlini, passed away in August 2007.Current editorial staff: Luca Tancredi Barone, Silvia Bencivelli [2] , Marco Motta.

Antonella Alba, Matteo Bartocci, Cettina Flaccavento (direction) Chiara Fanelli, Piero Pugliese (direction) also had previously been part of the staff.
"Radio3 Scienza" is a cultural programme about science and the links between science and society. It deals with daily news and deepens issues of public consideration, discusses with researchers, talks about books, opens and reads newspapers through a scientific lens. "Radio3 Scienza" extraordinary edition broadcasts for the "Festival della Scienza" in Genoa, for the "Festival della matematica" and for the "Festival delle scienze" in Rome, for the" Fiera Internazionale del Libro" in Turin, for the "Trieste Fest", (Salone del gusto) in Turin and at the "Palladium" theatre in Rome.
