GenSet plc

GenSet plc is a UK company based in Port Talbot, South Wales.

Incorporated in 1978, it started out as a distributor of GenSet engine-generator equipment and welding power supply machines – a status it retains to this day.Over the years the company has grown into one of the largest suppliers of construction machinery to the UK plant hire industry.

The company has two associated businesses; TowerLight Limited and GenQuip Limited.

In 2007, the company was awarded first prize for "Customer Focus" in the [http://www.nationalbusinessawards.com National Business Awards] and in 2008, the "After Sales Service" award in the [http://www.khl.com/rentalawards European Rental Awards] .The GenSet chairman, Josh Llewellyn, was voted "Hireman of the Year 2008" during the UK Hire Industry Awards, organised by the [http://www.hae.org.uk Hire Association Europe] .
