The 45th Reconnaissance Squadron (45 RS) is part of the 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

Mission

History

The squadron flew combat missions in the European Theater of Operations from, 6 June 1944-8 April 1945. It conducted photo-mapping of Europe from, June 1945-March 1949. THe 45th again flew combat in Korea from, 29 December 1950-27 July 1953. Squadron detachments flew combat reconnaissance in Southeast Asia from, November 1961-July 1966.
