Travel CUTS

Travel CUTS, also known as Canadian Universities Travel Service Limited, [ [http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/cgi-bin/sc_mrksv/corpdir/dataOnline/corpns_re?company_select=389251 Corporations Canada – Canadian Universities Travel Service Limited] ] is the North American student travel division of CFS, the Canadian Federation of Students. Travel CUTS is the largest travel agency in the world fully owned and operated by a national student organization. In addition to operating over 70 locations throughout Canada and the US, Travel CUTS is also affiliated with over 600 student travel offices worldwide, through membership in the ISTC International Student Travel Confederation.

Travel CUTS also owns and operates several specialty travel divisions: Voyages Campus, The Adventure Travel Company, Volunteer Abroad, Student Work Abroad, and Innovative Group Travel.

The company was the subject of a lengthy legal dispute between the Canadian Federation of Students and some individual student unions that had been members of the Association of Student Councils (Canada), a group of student unions which operated a travel agency business which was transferred to Travel CUTS.
