Ozannes

Ozannes is a law firm in the Channel Islands that specializes in international financing and transactions. In 2006 the firm was involved in 35.97 percent of all funds established in Guernsey.

History

The firm’s origins can be traced back to 1842, but its present role as a commercial law firm dates back to the early 1970s when Roger Perrot, the present senior partner, together with two other former partners, set out to expand what was then a small, entirely local, practice. The early 1980s saw the arrival of Peter Harwood and Peter Ferbrache, who transformed the corporate and litigation capacity of the firm. Since 1999, the firm has more than doubled in size to over 150 staff and it continues to grow. The firm also opened an office in Jersey in September 2006, offering investment funds, trusts, corporate, banking and commercial advice to its clients.
