ProblemPoker is a desktop-based content-control software program created by Ethel, LLC, similar to NetNanny, CyberSitter, or ContentProtect, however ProblemPoker only focuses on preventing access to content relating to online gambling opportunities.

The program operates without downloading localized whitelist or blacklist data to the desktop PC and rather pulls a website blocking algorithm from a centralized location. This means that the website blocking algorithm can be centrally updated throughout the global system, reducing instances of website overblocking and website underblocking.
