Ref link = ReferencesThin Lizzy are a hard rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1969. The band was originally led by bassist, songwriter and singer Phil Lynott. They are best known for their songs "Whiskey in the Jar", "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town", all major international hits still played regularly on hard rock and classic rock radio stations. Thin Lizzy continue playing today, but restrict themselves to playing live and not recording new material. The line-up now consists of longtime guitarist Scott Gorham, John Sykes, and two other members who were not present during the band's main recording career.
