Bill Sharpe (WCSC-TV)

Bill Sharpe was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He is best known for being a head anchor on Charleston's CBS news station, WCSC-TV Live 5. He has been with Live 5 since 1978.

Awards and Recognition

Received numerous awards for best newscast for feature reporting and investigative reporting, part of newscasts which received an Emmy and a Peabody.

Education

Graduated St. Andrews High, and got a degree from Emory University in Atlanta in English Literature and a minor in French.

Personal life

Has three children, twins Hayle Kathryn and William, who were born in 2003, and Harper, who was born in 2005. He also has a yellow lab, Kyle. His favorite book is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and his favorite music ranges from Eclectic interests from country to classic...from George Jones to Mozart.
