Roy Partee

Roy Partee

Roy Robert Partee (September 7, 1917 - December 27, 2000) was a backup catcher in Major League Baseball who played from by|1943 through by|1948 for the Boston Red Sox (1943-44, 1946-47) and St. Louis Browns (1948). Listed at 5' 10" Weight: 180 lb., Partee batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Los Angeles, California. In a five-season career, Partee was a .250 hitter (273-for-1090) with two home runs and 114 RBI in 367 games, including 89 runs, 41 doubles, five triples, two stolen bases, and a .334 on-base percentage. Parteee died in Eureka, California, at the age of 83.
