The "Saamana" is a Marathi language newspaper owned by the Shiv Sena, a right wing Hindu party in Maharashtra, India. The chief editor is Bal Thackeray. The other editors include Shrikant Thackeray.This newspaper is famous for its straightforward comments about government, the system and any topic which relates to common man. Shiv Sena is known to fight for the rights of Maharashtrians, and creating justice for "Marathi Manus" in Mumbai. Saamna offers the forum and platform for Marathi and Mumbai in India and Global landscape. It is also called as the mouthpiece of the "Shiv Sena". http://www.saamana.com/
