Lioncon

LionCon, a Fan convention for fans of author and Christian apologist CS Lewis, was initiated in 2008 by three large US-based Narnia fan websites: [http://www.narniafans.com/ NarniaFans] , [http://www.narniaweb.com/ NarniaWeb] ] and [http://www.thelionscall.com /The Lion's Call] . The first convention, held on June 20-22, 2008 at the Biola University campus in La Mirada, California, was timed with the release of , and featured such Narnia scholars as author Diana Pavlac Glyer, Mythopoeic society founder Glen Goodnight, and filmmaker M. David Melvin, producer/writer/director of "C.S. Lewis, Dreamer of Narnia."
