History

Wakefield Middle School was opened in 2000, and is situated between Wakefield Elementary and Wakefield High School. The school was created to help meet the growing Wake County population, especially in northern Raleigh and Wake Forest.

Academics

All students study a core curriculum of Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies each semester. Students may may choose from a variety of electives, including foreign languages, fine arts, performing arts, and career/technology courses.
