Shirli-Myrli ( _ru. Ширли-мырли, International title - "What a Mess!") is a 1995 farce comedy film of late post-Perestroyka era directed by Vladimir Menshov based on a screenplay by Vitali Moskalenko and Andrei Samsonov. Produced by Vladimir Dostal and Aleksandr Litvinov. Music by Timur Kogan, sound by Olga Ilyina. Cinematography by Vadim Alisov. Special Effects by Vladimir Vasilyev.

Plot summary

While digging the mine "Unperspective" in Yakutia an unprecedented diamond (by size) was found. It was christened as the "Savior of Russia". Officials proclaimed that the sale of that diamond can give every citizen of Russia a three year long vacations at the Canary Islands

But when the diamond was transported to Moscow (by Antonov An-124 "Ruslan") it was lost and got to a hands of the crime boss Kozulskiy (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan). But he was also robbed by Vasiliy Krolikov (Valeri Garkalin).

The plot revolves from now around Krolikov and his two triplet-birth brothers (at the end of the film Vasiliy discovered that there was even four of them born at the same time). He's pursuited by Kozulskiy's mafia and two Soviet Militia officers - Piskunov (Igor Ugolnikov) and the unnamed lieutenant (Sergey Batalov).
