Kentaro Asahi (born September 19, 1975 in Kumamoto, Kumamoto) is a beach volleyball player from Japan.

He is a former volleyball player, and played as a center for the Men's National Team in the 1990s. He ended up in sixteenth place at the 1998 World Championship. Asahi later on started a career in beach volleyball. Asahi and team mate Katsuhiro Shiratori is representing Japan in beach volleyball at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
