"Kabluey" is a 2008 comedy film written and directed by Scott Prendergast. It stars Prendergast, as well as Lisa Kudrow, Teri Garr, Christine Taylor, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Chris Parnell also appears in the film as a grocery store manager.

Plot

When Leslie (Kudrow), whose husband is in Iraq, is in danger of losing her benefits if she does not return to work, Salman (Prendergast), her brother-in-law, arrives in town to help watch over her two kids. Meanwhile, Salman gets a job as the mascot for a failing dot-com and finds confidence through his costume and alter ego.

Reception

Kabluey was praised by critics as being funny while combining elements of modern day alienation, American culture and commenting on the war in Iraq. It currently holds 88% on rotten-tomatoes.
