Lejo Dijkgraaf (born
19 June 1952 ,Rhenen ) is a Dutch tv producer and former actor andpuppeteer .In 1975 he studied at the Arts School in Utrecht. After a few years working as a teacher, he chose to work in the theatre. As an actor, in 1982 he won the Hans Snoeckprijs for best Dutch actor in youth theatre.
From 1982 to 1989 he played Pino (
Big Bird ) in "Sesamstraat ", the Dutch version of the series "Sesame Street ". In April 2008 he played Pino one more time (this time without package) on theNCRV programme "Knowing Me, Knowing You".From 1988 to 2000 he worked for television, 9 years of which were for "Joop van den Ende TV producties". For them he worked as executive producer and manager of programme development. He produced and considered programme ideas for
Henny Huisman ,André van Duin ,Ron Brandsteder andCarlo Boszhard .Since 2000 he has been a director with Dijkproducties B.V.
