Vince 'Vin' Irwin (born 4 February 1899) was an
Australian rules football er who played with Essendon in the VFL during the 1920s.One of Essendon's many North Melbourne recruits, Irwin started his career as a defender and was in a back pocket when Essendon won the 1923 premiership. The following season he was moved to the forward pockets and kicked 10 goals in a game against St Kilda at Windy Hill mid-season. He finished the year with 28 goals and played two further seasons, bagging 27 and 30 goals. Irwin was a four time Victorian interstate representative.
