Blastzone Entertainment Group

Blastzone Entertainment Group is a company located in West Liberty, an Appalachian community in Eastern Kentucky. Blastzone is a music services company that works with musicians of many genres, including alternative rock, country, and blues. But its principle work is with heavy metal groups and rock bands. This sets it apart in a region dominated by country and bluegrass music. The company is headquartered in the Morehead State University Regional Enterprise Center in West Liberty, KY. It's the only known rock label in Appalachian, KY.

The company has received attention for its work at Rocklahoma, the U.S.'s largest hard-rock fest and its recent signing of Sheldon Tarsha, former lead vocalist of Addler's Appetite and British rock band The Gypsy Pistoleros.

In March the company formed a partnership with two other record labels to form the Tri-Label Group.

Blastzone expects to have more than 50 CDs in distribution around the globe by July 2008. Utilizing the internet, Blastzone works with musicians around the world.
