Early life

Tino Sunseri is son of Carolina Panthers defensive line coach Sal Sunseri. In addition Tino Sunseri is the godson of NFL legend Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins.

High school career

As a senior, Sunseri completed 110 of 200 passes for 1,960 yards and 23 touchdowns (only four interceptions). He was named to the "Fabulous 22" team by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the "Terrific 25" by the Tribune-Review. Tino attended Weddington High School till his sophomore season then went to Pittsburgh Central Catholic where he started since. Sunseri also rushed for 33 yards with 6 touchdowns. In addition Sunseri was selected to the Big 33 game in Hershey, PA. Sunseri threw for 220 yards, 3 passing touchdowns and rushed for 60 yards leading the Pennslyvania team over the Ohio Team 31-16.
