Party hat

Party hat

A party hat is generally a playful conical hat made with a rolled up piece of thin cardboard, usually with designs printed on the outside and a long string of elastic going from one side of the cone's bottom to another to secure the cone to the person's head. Its name originates with the use; party hats are generally seen at birthday parties. Party hats can also be seen at New Year celebrations, in the traditional form and with some variations (such as a funny, colored top hat or a hat made out of balloons). Other variations of the party hat include the beer hat and Mickey Mouse ears.

In Origami, the party hat is a simple, enjoyable piece to make.
