Bhilad is named after a small hill located near it called Bhilkhai hill. Bhilad has got lots of rich resources it can be easily classified under rural city. Geography

National Highway kisses the main area town, Mumbai is about 200 km to the south and the city of Surat is about 130 km to the north.

From Bhilad starts the Aravalli range of mountains. Bhilad is surrounded by many of them called Tramia hill, Bhilkhai hill etc.

The Arabian Sea is about 14 km to the west, where the Darotha river creates its delta. Town out skirts are heavily loaded with green Lush, so in weather summers are not much hot. Winters are deep blue and rains are heavy.
