hell description
The shell differs from "
Pterotyphis eos eos " in having a broadly triangulatebody whorl and long divergent hollow spines at shoulder level.The external shell coloration is uniformly bright salmon-pink with dark reddish-brown streaks in the corrugations of the varices, although some examples are buff, with chocolate streaks in the corrugations.
The maximum shell height is 32 mm, and the maximum width is 20 mm.
