Allison Hagendorf

Allison Hagendorf is an on-camera personality, voice actor, and music consultant.

Early Sony Music

Hagendorf began her music career when she became Sony's College Marketing Representative at Penn State University, where she was awarded the highly coveted title “College Rep of the Year” for her innovative marketing ideas involving her creative collegiate promotions. Upon graduation, Hagendorf secured a position at Sony’s Columbia Records, where she immediately impressed and then convinced Matt Pinfield -- her teenage idol, music guru, and former MTV VJ -- to give her the opportunity to serve as his personal assistant, so that he could become her mentor. Her persistence paid off as she became Matt’s assistant and then coordinator for the next three years in Columbia’s A&R department, where she oversaw the coordination of a dozen albums for artists such as David Bowie, Cypress Hill, Coheed & Cambria, and Kenna.

Epic A&R

After working closely with Pinfield at Columbia Records, Hagendorf went out on her own to serve as an A&R Manager for Epic Records in New York City. At Epic, she recruited new talent for the label and oversaw the production of albums by artists Automatic Loveletter, Bamboo Shoots, The Fashion, and Lamb of God (whose single “Redneck” [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redneck_%28song%29] received a Grammy nomination for "Best Metal Performance").
