Gorgonopsia . It was first named by Broom in 1940, and contains six species, "P. robusta", "P. alticeps", "P. brinki", "P. brodiei", "P. maccabei", and "P. pugnax". Its fossils have been found inSouth Africa . "Prorubidgea"'s skull measured about 25.5 cm in length.
