SyncMate is a freeware and shareware synchronization tool, published by Eltima Software. It allows synchronizing information between Windows Mobile devices and Mac (both directions). There are two editions of SyncMate: basic and expert. Basic SyncMate Edition is free to download and use, Expert Edition, however, is not free and provides users with additional features. The synchronization process is done via USB or Wi-Fi.

Starting from version 1.3, SyncMate provides users with the ability to synchronize data with Google Calendar and Google Contacts and to mount mobile device as a drive. In the nearest future Eltima is planning to add e-mail synchronization feature to SyncMate.

SyncMate Basic Edition

SyncMate Basic is free and synchronizes Contacts and iCal (Entourage supported) and allows Internet sharing. The following plugins are available: Device Info, SMS Reader and Actions Log.

SyncMate Expert Edition

SyncMate Expert is shareware (one can upgrade from SyncMate Basic) and has all the functionality of the Basic Edition, plus iPhoto, iTunes, Folders, Bookmarks (both Firefox and Safari ones), Notes (Entourage supported) and Time Synchronization. The following plugins are available: SMS Manager plugin and Applications List plugin.
