1898-11-27 - Opening as a station on theKyushu Railway Nagasaki Line.

*1911-08-21 - Section of track from Isahaya to Hon-Isahaya on the Shimabara Railway Line opens. Station now operates on two lines.
*1934-03-24 - Section of track from Isahaya to Yue on the Ariake Nishi Line opens.
*1934-12-01 - Ariake Nishi and Higashi lines are connected and become part of the Nagasaki Main Line. In addition, the section of track from Haiki to Isahaya is separated as theŌmura Line . This station now operates on three lines.
*1987-04-01 - The national railways are split and privatized. The Nagasaki Main Line and Ōmura line are now operated byJR Kyushu .Adjacent stations
