The 2002 Beach Soccer World Cup was the eight edition of the Beach Soccer World Championships. The tournament continued to change its location, this time completely out of Rio de Janeiro to Vitória, Espírito Santo and Guarujá, São Paulo. 2002 also saw Brazil reclaim their title after losing it to Portugal in the previous competition.
