John J Carty Award for the Advancement of Science

The John J Carty Award for the Advancement of Science is an award granted by the National Academy of Sciences. The award, which appears to be named in honor of its first recipient, is granted in any field of science within the Academy's charter. Since 1961, awards have been made in scientific fields specified in advance.
