Lights Action are a British quintet from London/Chelmsford made up of Patrick Currier (vocals), Karl Bareham (Guitar), Chris Moorhead (Guitar/Keys), Alex Leeder (Bass) and Steven Durham (drums). Their influences are quoted as "Good bands, Good songs, Good times" [http://www.myspace.com/lightsactionband] In terms of their sound, their sonic influences are wide ranging, which comes across in the variety of their work.

Initial releases

Their first single, "Satellites", was released on May 7th 2007. The single was re-released as a limited edition double A-Side single at the end of April 2008, backed with the song "Us Against the World".

Their second single, "Story Of A Broken Boy", was released on October 1st 2007.

Lights Action's third single, titled "Aurora" was released April 7th 2008.

Their début mini-album All Eyes To The Morning Sun, was released in April followed by a re-release of their début single "Satellites" as a Limited edition double A-Side 7" White Vinyl & Digital download.

Their début album "Welcome To The New Cold World" was scheduled for release in November 2008, however has been pushed back to early 2009.
