"Onomatopoeia" is the debut album by the band Flobots, released locally in 2001. Vocalist Jonny 5 was the only current Flobots member performing on this installment. The album also featured David Gralow on guitar, Terrence Favors on cello, and Jaymz Jaynes on bass. When Flobots formed in 2000, Brer Rabbit, Mackenzie Roberts, Jesse Walker, Andy Guerrero, Joe Ferrone, and Kenny Ortiz were not in the band until Jonny 5 resurrected the project in early 2005 when he decided to keep the Flobots name.
