Shippy got his started with rap as a bodyguard in 1999 during Esham's Mail Dominance Tour where he met Curt-D (Madness)and Staplez to form Bedlam. Later in 1999, Prozak along with the House of Krazees 2.0 became a group known as Halfbreed and formed the label, Virus Independent. The first two albums, Halfbreed's Serial Killaz and Bedlam's Chemical Imbalancez Volume one were released and backed by Brotha Lynch Hung's label, Siccmade Muzicc. Shortly after the albums were released Shippy and Bedlam parted ways from Virus label and joined with Newport Music to release Chemical Imbalancez Volume 2 as well as four different versons of volume one.
9-11/Struggles
After Chemical Imbalancez Volume 2 Staplez left the group and Madness and Prozak were all on their own. During this time Shippy created a yearly concert, Wicked Stock which is held every year in Shippy's hometown Saginaw, MI. January of 2002 Bedlam released their third album, Shock Treatment which created a lot of controversy nationwide. The cover of the album was one of the World Trade Center Towers as it was colasping on 9-11. None the less the album sold thousands of copies. During this same time Shippy released a solo EP, Aftabirth containging production from Mike E. Clark, and Brian Jones (The R.O.C).
Bedlamitez/The PDM Project
Bedlam fans were called "Bedlamitez". With an amazing fan base spanning from Michigan and across the globe caught the attention of Long Range Distribution. On Christmas Eve 2002 Long Range Disribution offered Bedlam a record contract and released Bedlam's fourth album "Bedlamitez Rize" in 2003 containing production from Mike E Clark, Lavel, and The ROC and featured guest appearances from Lavel, Mastamind, Esham, Mike E Clark, and Kelly Obsorne. Shortly after the release Shippy announced he was working to release a solo project with
Mike E. Clark . The solo project, "Self Inflicted" is the sequel "Aftabirth" a largely unknown project. In 2004, Shippy personaly gave a demo toTech N9ne and within a week the project had a name...Project Deadman. The album, Self Inflicted was released by Project Deadman summer of 2004.Film
Shippys first attempt with film was the Project Deadman video "Trapped". His Second video was Tech N9ne's first major music video for "Bout Ta Bubble". His current release is his solo debut video for "Good Enough". Shippy is currently editing a Ghost hunting style DVD release titled "Seekers"
Current Events
Prozak announced his first full solo LP titled "Tales From The Sick" on an episode of
Rotten Radio . The album released from his new company Deadman Productions, a joint venture with Prozak and Cohesion Productions. Tales From The Sick was released byStrange Music on June 3rd 2008 and featuresKrizz Kaliko ,Tech N9ne ,Twista ,Insane Clown Posse ,Twiztid ,Mike E. Clark ,Blaze Ya Dead Homie ,Kutt Calhoun ,The R.O.C ,Bizzare ,King Gordy , andCypress Hill . The album also has a bonus DVD documentry featuring Prozak, interviews, music videos and many special features.Discography
