Zero Hubbard, also known as Zerondrick Hubbard, is an American actor best known for his childhood roles in the 1980s. In particular, he had an on-going relationship with the makers of the cult series "
Hill Street Blues ", in which he had four different roles.From 1983 to early 1984 he appeared three times, as two different child characters, in the police drama series - Speedboat, and Spencer Rutledge. [See the [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0399241/filmoseries#tt0081873 IMDB reference here] for details and dates.] However, he is best remembered for the role of "Fabian DeWitt", an impoverished black kid left to fend for himself by his drunk, addict, prostitute mother. His case is championed by Sergeant Lucy Bates, who finally adopts Fabian. Zero Hubbard starred in this role from November 1984 until the programme ended in 1987.
Hubbard enjoyed a number of concurrent minor roles in other programmes, none of which gave him the same exposure as Hill Street Blues. After Hill Street Blues had ended, Hubbard had a limited number of small parts in American television programmes, with his final TV credit in 2002.
