Laura Ann Horton (née Spencer) is a fictional character on the television drama "Days of our Lives". Laura was introduced in 1966 and has been played by a number of actresses. In 1980 she was written off the show and resurfaced again in 1993. Jamie Lyn Bauer played the role on a contract base until 1998, after the storyline with Kristen Blake ended she played the role on a recurring base until 1999. After the wedding of John en Marlena Evans Laura suddenly vanished. In 2003 she returned briefly to Salem for the wedding of her daughter Jennifer and as of 2007 lives in England with Jennifer and Jack and their family.
