mayor=Jab'a ( _ar. الجبعة) is a Palestinian village in the central
West Bank , located 17 kilometers north of Hebron and 15 kilometers southwest ofBethlehem . Located three kilometers east of the Green Line, it is located in theSeam Zone , surrounded by theIsraeli settlement s in theGush Etzion Regional Council and theIsraeli West Bank barrier . Nearby Palestinian towns and villages includeSurif adjacent to the Jaba'a,Wadi Fukin andNahalin to the north. It is the northernmost locality in theHebron Governorate . According to thePalestinian Central Bureau of Statistics , Jab'a had a population of approximately 910 in 2006.
