"LA Today" is a song by the Producer/DJ Alex Gold of Xtravaganza Records and Singer/Composer Philip Oakey.It was created and released by Xtravaganza principally for the UK Dance/DJ market, but was placed at number 68 in the mainstream UK singles charts in April 2003.It features Oakey's distinctive baritone vocals over his and Gold's pounding analogue bassline.
