Supré

Supré

Supré is a women's apparel clothing chain in Australia and New Zealand. It focuses on supplying reasonably priced clothing in current styles. It is family-owned and operated by Hans and Helen van der Meulen, and their three daughters. Supré stores are known for their use of loud dance music (usually remixes of popular songs) instore, and some have, at times, even had professional DJs instore. With the opening of the Darwin CBD store in March 2007, Supré now has a flagship city store in each State and Territory of Australia. The flagship Sydney city store is spread over more than 4 levels in the old Gowings department store building. In July 2007 Supre opened in the Bourke Street mall, Melbourne and is different from most other Supre stores due to its very dark interior, much like a night club, complete with a "chill out zone" featuring sofas and benches to sit and relax near the change room area.

The store takes its name from the Esperanto word for "stuff".
