On June 21 2008 the "Canwest News Service" reported that Colonel Patrick Parrish denied Omar Khadr's lawyers access to some documents, including his "baseball card". The "Canwest" article said the baseball cards were officially known as "analyst support packages".

William Keubler, one of Khadr's lawyers, described the baseball cards as a "'snapshot' of the information his new interrogators would use to draw more statements from him."

The United States Department of Defense published dossiers prepared from 179 Combatant Status Review Tribunals. Those dossiers each contained a half-dozen or dozen documents. Dozens of them contained a Recorder exhibit list. All of the Recorder exhibit lists published listed a JTF-GTMO Baseball Card, without any indication of its contents.
