Winter StakesThe Winter Stakes is a Group 1 Australian thoroughbred horse race held under set weight conditions, for fillies and mares aged 3 years old and upwards, over a distance of 1400m. Prizemoney in 2008 was AUD$500,000.

The race is conducted by the Queensland Turf Club and run at the Eagle Farm in June. This race is the final Group 1 of the season in Australia.
