This helmet shell is found at depths of between 90 and 600 m.
hell description
The shell is subglobose, sculptured with strongly tubercled spiral cords, and lesser plain cords and threads. The anterior end terminates in a long, tail-like, twisted and recurved canal.
Coloration is white, buff, or pale brownish externally, and orange-brown or pale purplish-brown within the aperture.
Maximum shell height is 48 mm, and width 31 mm.
