Michael P. Naughton

Michael P. Naughton was born in Detroit. He is the grandson of Earle R. Milner [http://www.milner-hotels.com/about/index.html] who founded the Detroit chain of Milner Hotels. He is a professional musician and vocalist and played in several rock and R & B groups. He started writing screenplays 10 years ago and pitched them around Hollywood. "Deathryde: Rebel Without a Corpse", published by Gilded Hearse Press [http://www.GildedHearse.com] , was one of his earlier scripts which he novelized and published in May 2008. The debut novel was insipred by Elmore Leonard, Carl Hiassen and Evelyn Waugh. He had worked at Borders for a period of years and then left Borders to publish actor Michael Madsen [http://www.MichaelMadsen.com] of "Reservoir Dogs", "Kill Bill" and "Donnie Brasco", under the company 13 Hands Publications [http://www.13HandsOnline.com] . He is currently working on his next mystery novel due out in May 2009.
