Darlene Rose

Darlene Diebler Rose was a missionary in Papua New Guinea during World War II in what would later be the Western Highlands province. She survived four years in a Japanese prison camp. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ sustained her during those years.

Her testimony is so powerful that a movie will be made from her book in the next few years.^[1]

Rose died on February 24, 2004.^[2]
