California into a musical family. He spent his early years performing in theSan Francisco area and now lives and performs in Manhattan.Mr. Mintun continues to travel doing recitals and concerts across the country, performing at such places as
Weill Recital Hall atCarnegie Hall ,Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, theGreenbrier Hotel in West Virginia and many other venues. He has released 4 CDs.In addition to performing music of the great American songwriters and lyricists of the period, Peter Mintun serves as a consultant for research into popular music of the 1920s, '30s and '40s. His extensive knowledge, and talent for writing, have made him a favorite among record labels re-issuing classic material.
